Cultures That Heal: The Trauma-Informed Leadership Series explores what it means to lead in ways that reduce harm, strengthen trust, and create the conditions for people and organizations to thrive while equipping leaders to create cultures that are more responsive, relational, equitable, and grounded in human dignity.
Based on the foundations of Trauma Informed Leadership, Cultures That Heal examines how power, policy, communication, workplace culture, and everyday leadership decisions shape the experiences of the people within an organization. This series helps leaders of all kinds to understand trauma, recognize how harm can be reinforced through leadership practices and institutional systems, and apply trauma-informed approaches to communication, decision-making, conflict, accountability, and the use of power. Participants learn to recognize practices that create disconnection and reinforce harm, and how to replace them with approaches grounded in dignity, accountability, collaboration, and care.
More than a conversation about individual trauma, Cultures That Heal acknowledges a collective responsibility and challenges leaders to examine the systems and cultures they help create. The series offers practical tools for building organizations that are more responsive, equitable, relational, and capable of supporting both people and purpose.
